Through the College's subscription to the Canvas Training Portal, faculty can access live and on-demand webinars, self-paced courses, and Canvas tutorials provided by Instructure staff.
To access the Canvas Training Portal and register for a live webinar:
1. Log into SJR State's instance of Canvas through MySJRstate.
2. Click Help and then click the Canvas Training Portal link as illustrated below.
3. On the next screen, you will see a box like the one below - click Authorize.
4. To register for a live webinar, once you are in the Training Portal click the Live Training Calendar tab (illustration below) and make a selection.
5. Once you register, you will receive an email from Instructure Learning Services confirming your registration. That email will contain links that will let you save the event to your calendar and, for live webinars, access the event.
