Faculty's Guide to Concourse

How to copy syllabus items into other coursesscreen shot of Copy command on syllabus menu

For this to work, you need to have clicked the Concourse Syllabus link once in each class so Concourse connects a course syllabus template to each section you are teaching (otherwise, Concourse doesn't know what courses you are teaching).

1. In each course shell, click the Concourse Syllabus link in the Navigation menu - this connects a course syllabus template in Concourse to the section you are teaching.

2. With a syllabus open, click the Concourse logo to go to the Concourse landing page. Once there, you will see your current course syllabi and as well as future sections.

3. Click the syllabus you want to copy material from. Click the Syllabus menu and click Copy.

4. You'll see the screen below. Click Copy to One OR Copy to Many. (I recommend Copy to Many even if you're only copying items to 1 syllabus. The screen that appears after you copy makes much more sense from the Copy to Many option than the other. Just trust me :) - Christina)

5. Click Search (you can leave the Keyword(s) box blank) then select the course(s) you want to copy information into and click Copy.
