SJR State's Professional Development Institute (PDI) is a day dedicated for all faculty, staff, and administrators to come together and engage with their colleagues through a series of employee-led presentations on a wide variety of topics and best practices. Concurrent breakout sessions are held throughout the day providing innovative strategies and best practices designed to engage students and improve the college experience for both students and personnel alike.
In addition, the Professional Development Institute serves as a day for College employees to join in recognition of our faculty and staff for the work they do by honoring them with Service Awards and Awards of Excellence and to recognize and bid farewell to those retiring each year.
All SJR State faculty, staff, and administrators are encouraged to submit presentation proposals for the lucky 13th annual Professional Development Institute to be held on February 7, 2025 at the Palatka Campus.
Presentations should be 50 minutes long including time for questions.
