Welcome to the 13th annual Professional Development Institute, and the LAST one to be held in the Florida School of the Arts as we know it today! Not only is this a time for us to learn from each other but it is also a time for us to gather and celebrate the people that make our college so special.
Once again you will see this year’s PDI offers a wide variety of sessions on topics ranging from AI, to student engagement, to Beowulf, to PowerPoint tips and tricks. With 45 different sessions covering six thematic tracks, the knowledge and talents of our colleagues are clear! I hope you will take full advantage of what’s in store today as we all prepare to better serve our students and have fun along the way.
Thank you to the many people from multiple departments who arranged this event for us and to the 64 employees who are presenting today. This is going to be a great day! I look forward to sharing it with you.
