Greetings, SJR State faculty and staff!
Welcome to the 11th St. Johns River State College’s annual Professional Development Institute. Not only is this a time for us to sharpen our skills as we learn from each other, but it is also a time for us to gather and share the community that makes our college so special.
You’ll see in the program a wide variety of offerings from classroom engagement to marshmallow challenges and purchasing to pigs and a British rock band. This is not your average workday, folks! Clearly, there’s something for everyone. I hope you will take full advantage of the wisdom and talent offered by our colleagues as we all prepare to better serve our students and have fun along the way.
Thank you to those who arranged this event for us, who will instruct us, and who will undoubtedly keep things running smoothly all day. This event is no small feat; it takes many hands to prepare the quality professional development day we enjoy.
