Information for Instructional Faculty

No Show Requirements

Students are No Shows When...

Campus Classes

  • Students have not attended one class by the No Show deadline.

  • Campus students should not be reported as No Shows if they have not submitted an assignment.

Asynchronous Online Classes

  • Students have not submitted one academic assignment (Discussion Post, Homework) by the No Show deadline.

Live Online Classes

  • Students have not submitted one academic assignment (Discussion Post, Homework) by the No Show deadline.

Please note that because Live Online classes are Distance Learning courses, in the eyes of Federal Financial Aid auditors, simply logging into a Live Zoom session—even if the content discussed is academic in nature—DOES NOT on its own constitute attendance. Completion of an academic assignment/task is required for Live Online classes.
