Site Captains are a critical part of successful Days of Service. Every service project has one or two Site Captains who:
- Serve as the point of contact for the service project
- Coordinate with off-site project contacts
- Recruit volunteers
- Communicate with all involved about logistics and back-up plans.
- On the day:
- Collect release form signatures from all volunteers
- Distribute t-shirts if applicable
- Take pictures and encourage others to as well
- Text or email pictures to the College's Social Media Coordinator
- Note how many hours were spent on the project
- Sign student community service hours forms, if needed
