As College support staff, many of us perform the same essential job functions, but we perform them in slightly different ways. Employees receive basic training when beginning a new position, but so much of our knowledge is gained through circumstance, trial, and error. With over 40 years of institutional knowledge among them, Paula, Kenya, Lisa, and Marsha will share tidbits and practices they have found useful while navigating processes involving student admissions, the key request system, purchasing, travel, textbook lists, course scheduling, room reservations, student overrides, payroll, and dual enrollment support. Presented as an open discussion, participants are encouraged to ask questions and/or share their own best practices with the group.
