Landmarks in Human Evolution
Where did humans come from? Are we evolved from monkeys? What were the important events and innovations that led to modern man (Homo sapiens)? How old are humans? How do we know what we know about human evolution? Are humans still evolving? Dr. Larson will answer these questions and present an overview of the important events in human evolution. This will include how we are related to other apes and primates, the evolutionary events that occurred in the human lineage, the origin of modern humans and their migration from Africa to five other continents. Questions from the audience are encouraged.
