Canvas: New Quizzes
The New Quizzes tool in Canvas offers new and enhanced features, settings, and question types that allow instructors to build assessments using a variety of options. We will compare the New Quizzes tool to the classic quiz tool in Canvas so that instructors are aware of the changes and limitations of New Quizzes. Participants will learn how to turn on the tool, create a New Quiz, add questions, and specify settings. We will walk through each of the new question types and their possible applications. Participants will also learn how to manage and organize item banks, and there will be discussion of the migration process and timeline for turning off the classic quiz tool.
