In this session, the presenters will discuss important communication elements including email and phone etiquette, the power of persuasion, using intuition to evaluate data, the power of positive language, and more. Faculty and staff can improve their writing and learn what it takes to be an effective communicator. Don't let writing errors make you look bad!  Attendees will become familiar with email and phone etiquette and learn how to deliver bad news, use the power of persuasion, the power of positive language, and techniques for evaluating data. The presenters will discuss common grammar and punctuation errors, explain wordiness, and give tips on proofreading their work.
