TidyUP

TidyUP is a cleanup tool for Canvas courses that allows faculty to:

• Identify and delete all files that are not being used in your course.
• See what files are being used in your course and where they are being used.
• Find empty folders in the files section of your course and delete them.
• View a list of all your Canvas pages, assignments, quizzes or discussions with information about each page within a course and the ability to delete multiple pages at once.

When using TidyUP, please be sure:

1. You use the most current version of your course.
2. You download a backup of that course BEFORE you begin using TidyUP.
3. You don't delete question bank images.
4. After the TidyUP process, use this same, current, now cleaned up copy of your course as the source of content the next time you copy content into a course shell.
