In this session, Heather Jones introduces LucidChart & LucidSpark, two new tools embedded in Canvas. Lucidspark’s intuitive platform allows for real-time brainstorming, mind mapping, and visual collaboration, making it an excellent tool for fostering student participation and creativity. Participants will learn strategies for using Lucidspark to facilitate group projects, stimulate class discussions, and visualize complex concepts. We'll also look at using Lucidchart’s versatile diagramming and visualization tools to create clear, interactive, and engaging educational materials. Whether it's designing complex flowcharts, organizing information with mind maps, or visualizing data with sophisticated charts, Lucidchart provides an intuitive platform for both instructors and students. Participants will discover practical applications for Lucidchart in explaining complex concepts and fostering collaborative projects.

In this session, Stephen Tomasovith introduces faculty to Hippocampus, an extensive resource offering high-quality multimedia content across various subjects. Participants will learn how to integrate these engaging and interactive materials into their curriculum to enhance lesson plans, provide supplemental learning resources, and support diverse learning styles.
