Best Practices for Faculty

State how & why you are using Turnitin on your course syllabus and in Canvas.
Provide students with instructions on how to submit their work to Turnitin.
Allow students to view Similarity Report
Use the Resubmit Option
Enable the Grammar Checking Tool
Exclude: Bibliographic & Quoted Material
Encourage students to utilize the Writing Center
Use the Turnitin Instructor Guides
Only submit an Academic Misconduct Form as last resort.
